My VBAC Story
I had a successful VBA3C in Cambridgeshire after being told I couldn’t and shouldn’t attempt it.
That experience doesn’t make me the expert on YOUR birth.
But it does mean that I understand the emotional complexity that can come with planning a VBAC, navigating appointments and making decisions in a system that doesn’t always make space for individual circumstances.
You deserve support that helps you feel informed, understood and confident in your choices.
Whether you're certain about your VBAC plans or still exploring your options, you don't have to navigate everything on your own.
I'm Shannon, a VBA3C mum, VBAC specialist and doula supporting families across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.

-
No. Many women get in touch while they're still exploring their options. You don't need to have made any final decisions before reaching out.
-
Yes. As a VBA3C mum myself, I understand the additional considerations that can come with planning a vaginal birth after multiple caesareans.
-
Yes. I support women planning a range of birth settings, including home birth after caesarean, and can help you explore your options and prepare for discussions with your care providers.
-
No. My role is not to make decisions for you. My role is to provide information, emotional support and space for you to make informed decisions that feel right for your circumstances.
-
Support isn't dependent on a particular birth outcome. Whether you go on to have a VBAC, an induction or a caesarean birth, you'll continue to receive my support.
-
Not at all. Some women work with me through my one-off sessions or ND & VBAC Birth Preparation Package, while others choose full birth doula support.
