Hi, I’m Shannon

I’m so glad you’re here.

I'm a doula based in Cambridgeshire, supporting families across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire through pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period.

I'm also an AuDHD mum of four and a VBA3C mum, experiences that have profoundly shaped the way I support women today.

I know how overwhelming pregnancy and maternity care can feel when you're trying to process information, navigate decisions and advocate for yourself within a busy system. I also know how different it feels when you have the right support beside you.

My role isn't to tell you what to do or make decisions for you.

It's to offer calm, compassionate support so you feel informed, understood and confident in making the choices that feel right for you and your family.

What you can expect from me

My story

My pregnancies and births taught me just how important it is to feel heard, supported and respected.

I also learned that the NHS isn’t set up to work for everyone, especially if you’re neurodivergent, overwhelmed by appointments or trying to navigate complex birth choices like a VBAC.

Becoming a doula was my way of creating the kind of support I wish I’d had; calm, personalised and built around you.

Training & Specialist Interests

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent people and those planning a VBAC.

Alongside my lived experience as an AuDHD woman and VBA3C mum, I have completed specialist training in both neurodivergent birth support and VBAC support.

While every family is different, my work is rooted in helping people feel informed, emotionally safe and supported in making decisions that feel right for them.
